Shipping

Shipping at launch is the United States only. The rate is $9.99, and shipping is free on orders over $150. Hats ship boxed so they keep their shape. Nothing ships until orders open.

Returns & exchanges

This policy applies once orders open. We want every Hidden Verse piece to fit well and last. If something isn't right, here is how we make it right.

Returns within 30 days

Send back any unworn, unwashed piece with its tags attached within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. We'll email you a return label. The cost of the label is taken from your refund, unless we made a mistake or the piece is defective. The Founders' Polo is different; see below. Original shipping charges are refunded only if we made a mistake or the piece is defective.

Your first size exchange is free

Need a different size? On pieces other than the Founders' Polo, your first size exchange is on us, shipping both ways, within the same 30 days. The piece should be unworn, unwashed and tagged. If the size you need is out of stock, we'll refund you instead. The Founders' Polo is the exception, below.

Founders' Polo: one free label

The men's Founders' Polo includes one free return or exchange label. Use it once, within 30 days of delivery, on an unworn polo with the tags on. After that, another exchange is not free. The polo is not final sale.

The numbered run is small. If it has sold out in your new size, we'll send you the same polo without a number. We wish we could promise that your number will carry over, but we can't. What we can promise is the same polo, in a size that fits.

If you'd rather have a refund, that uses the same one label. It is not a second free shipment.

Defects are always covered

If a piece arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We'll replace it, repair it, or refund it, and we cover shipping both ways. If a flaw in materials or workmanship shows up within a year of normal wear, write to us and we'll make it right. Normal wear and tear, washing against the care label, and alterations are not defects. This applies to final-sale pieces too.

Final sale: custom-verse and engraved items

Custom-verse orders and engraved items are final sale. They can't be returned or exchanged unless they are defective or we made a mistake. Each one is marked Final sale on its product page and at checkout.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and we've checked it, we refund your original payment method within 5 business days and email you. Your bank or card company may take a few more days to show it.

Pre-orders

You can cancel a pre-order any time before it ships for a full refund, shipping included. Reply to your order email or write to us. If the ships-by date changes, we'll email you the new date with a one-click cancel. Cancellation refunds are sent within 7 business days.

Email jason@hiddenverseclothing.com or use our contact page. Include your order number and what you'd like to do. Please wait for your label before sending anything back.

U.S. orders

Returns and exchanges are for orders shipped within the United States, the same as our shipping.

When a piece wears out

Long after the return window, our Retire with Respect program takes worn Hidden Verse apparel and headwear (polos, quarter-zips, T-shirts, and caps and hats) back with a free label. See the Look Closer page.

Pre-order terms

Pre-order is not on. When it opens, the Founders’ Polo is charged at checkout. The ships-by date will be posted when the factory confirms it. If that date moves, we email you with a one-click cancel and a full refund. You can cancel any time before it ships. Hats and accessories in the same order are planned to ship separately at no extra cost.

Privacy

Effective October 27, 2026.

What we collect: the name, email, and optional interest you give in a signup form; your messages if you write to us; and, once orders open, your order, shipping address, and payment details. Payment details are handled by our payment processor. We never see your full card number. We may also use basic site analytics.

How we use it: to send the updates you asked for, to answer you, and to fill orders.

Who we share it with: only the services that run the site, send email, take payment, and ship orders. We don’t sell or rent your information.

Your choices: unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom, or email jason@hiddenverseclothing.com to see, correct, or delete your information.

Do Not Track: we don’t track you across other sites, and we don’t respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

If this policy changes, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. Contact: jason@hiddenverseclothing.com.

Terms

Hidden Verse is in Glendora, California. This site shows a coming-soon collection and does not take payment. A signup is not an order. Prices and availability can change before orders open.

The shipping, returns, and pre-order terms on this page are part of these terms. Scripture is from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. The Hidden Verse name, the three-cross mark, and the photos are ours.
